  version 2.5
Saturday, January 14th, 2006

Welcome to version 2.5 of the kikiBlog!

New in this edition: more CSS, some new things with .PNG's (Firefox & Opera only), a Javascript & CSS driven menu system, and an archive.

So, nothing major! Think of it as a 'minor renovation' instead of a 'complete rebuild' :)

Site design critique and commentary, which I enjoy. I hate to think what they would say about the kikiBlog's fundamentals

This is where I got my menu and image pop-up code - some really brilliant stuff. Hard to believe you can get this stuff for free

Steel Dolphin Creative

Great for playing with colour schemes and coming up with combinations that aren't immediately obvious

The Web at Pooh Corner

If you need Classic Pooh clipart - look no further. There is simply no better catalog on the web.

Update: the site author seems to have removed his classic Pooh clipart off his site; I'll keep checking back to see what's going on there.

Well Styled

Hands down my all-time favourite site authoring tool. I love its Extensions, which really add to its abilities out of the box

Photoshop

Hard on beginners but no other graphics package comes close in brute power strength

Canon G6

canon G6

A prosumer camera that's easy enough for point and clickers to use. Takes 99% of the pictures you see on the site

Canon A40

My 'throw-away' 2MP point-and-click, which still holds its own. Useful when I don't necessarily want to take the larger G6 with me

Indispensable for Photoshop users. I only wish I got mine sooner
